According to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the training of AFU pilots to fly F-16 fighter jets will be a signal to Moscow. He noted that such steps are a proof of long-term support for Ukraine.

"What is related to the training of pilots is a long-term project,"

Scholz believes that now Russia must realize the consequences of its actions. So far, the U.S. has not decided exactly what will be at the end of pilot training, but military support will definitely not be reduced.
