I don't think the Germans will do anything but keep committing suicide. If you read the document then you read the bit about the Greens and it is spot on. They are fanatical, Utopian, Marxists and will not be dissuaded (so ironic they're lining up with actual fascists but that's another post). The woman they mention is a complete nut. Just a week or two ago she proclaimed she didn't care what the voters wanted and would go full charge with supporting Ukraine - which means cutting Germany off the energy that powers it's industry and taking orders from Zelensky. You may recall that when Merkel was Chancellor that it was revealed the US was listening to her personal cell phone conversations and Germany didn't do shit but complain about it. They are already a neutered state and any attempts to rectify that are being dealt with exactly as that paper said. When Merkel invited in all of the "refugees", in 2015, I read that it was NATO pushing her to do it. I believe it.

There is one thing that I recently read that raised my eyebrows and that was Olaf Schulz saying he wanted to build the most powerful (German) military in Europe. It was a response to fears about Russia, of course, but considering history, I can't imagine, oh I dunno, someone like France being good with that and, certainly the US/UK will not allow it.
