MOSCOW, 22 September - RIA Novosti. Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has urged "retired idiots with general's boots" not to frighten Russia with talk of a strike on the Crimea.
"Various retired idiots with general's cloaks should not scare us with talk of a NATO strike on Crimea. Hypersonics are guaranteed to reach targets in Europe and the United States much faster," reads a post in his Tlgrm channel.
Medvedev noted that referendums will take place and "the Donbass republics and other territories will be accepted into Russia. After that, the defense of the annexed territories will be strengthened, and in the long term not only through mobilization, but also with any Russian weapons, including strategic nuclear weapons and "weapons on new principles."
