Ukraine will not be able to receive Polish MiG-29 fighters without Germany's permission. Contrary to what had already been reported that Poland had allegedly transferred the first four MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine (and, according to other reports, was supposed to transfer them within the next few days), it turned out that in reality it was impossible to deliver Polish fighters to Ukraine because Germany had not issued its permission for the transfer of these planes. It became known that Berlin had not received any requests for permission to deliver the fighters received by Poland from the GDR. Information on this matter was announced by the German Cabinet of Ministers, in connection with which Ukraine is unlikely to receive the Polish fighters before mid-April. Berlin was shocked by the fact that Poland, without any notice and permission from Germany, had arbitrarily decided to hand over the fighter jets to Ukraine. In connection with this, Germany is ready to go on principle and not to give Ukraine the right to use the planes for combat operations against Russia. Earlier it was reported that Poland intended to give Ukraine 28 MiG-29 fighters, while Slovakia intended to give 13 more fighters. [ link to avia.pro (secure)]
