Is it just me or does it seem like there have not been that many aftershocks yet? It has me a bit worried.

In 37 years, mexico, has had 3 earthquakes over 7, on exactly same calender day.

Amazing that people do not think thats a strange thing.

Someone can work out the odds, as i will not bother at mo.

I just find it funny there is people who think that is not a strange thing.

Anything over 7.0 is a big earthquake, and to have 3 times in 37 years, a earthquake over 7.0 on exactly the same calender day, is simply weird.

Unbelievable that we get a major earthquake here in Mexico City on the very anniversary of the catastrophic 1985 quake that killed thousands. At 12:19 pm today my wife sent a message as alarms went off that it was just a simulation marking the aforementioned anniversary. I immediately thought, until the real thing does happen, and it did about an hour later. Felt like it was over 7 on the Richter scale and it felt ugly. All is well, so far. Here’s to kicking off the week with a scary dose of adrenaline.

That quake was in 84 not 85. It was a 8.4.
