They will ship it anyway... 2 years ago, I was driving out of my garage. There was a huge canvas box big as a refrigerator blocking my driveway. I get out to see what it is. It was an Amazon shipping container with about 50 packages inside. It must have fell out of one of their trucks. I quickly dragged it into my garage before the neighbors saw me. I took all the packages out and started thinking what to do. All the addresses were nearby. My sister put a guilt trip on me, so I called Amazon, and they gave me an address near the airport. I put the container in my pickup truck and drove to the Amazon hub near the airport. I promised myself 1 package to keep for my good deed. I already could tell I had several iPhones and iPads. I returned the container, but I forgot to keep 1 package. I bet an Amazon driver got fired that day. BTW- I find iPhones and wallets full of cash all the time. I returned every one and received nothing more than "thank you" in return. My kharma must be real high. Last week, I found a mint condition iPhone 13 Pro Max while I was waiting for my car to be fixed. This time I powered it off, tossed the sim card, and wiped it's memory. It's an awesome iPhone. I'm using it right now.

People like you make things difficult for everyone, much like the blacks that want to add to their order or change their order at the window. Suck it up and honor the obligations you made when you purchased something online. Nothing worse than some undecided customer that suddenly doesnt want what they wanted mere minutes or hours ago. These processes are fairly streamlined and customers like you fuck that all up.

I am STILL waiting for my refund of 200.00 from life alert.(4 months) They did an aggressive hard sell and 10 hrs later I canceled the service after reading about the shitty company. They told me they had shipped the homebase unit already and that I had to ship it back before they would consider a refund. They did cancel the monthly service and I refused the package, however I have still not received the refund even after a BBB complaint with their final response being that they claim they refunded my money. The phone numbers are all bogus going to some call center and no supervisors were able to be contacted even after repeated requests by me. I filed a dispute with my bank and they are going after them for the illegal withdrawal from my account as they were not supposed to take the money, it was pending still when I spoke to the asshole that basically forced the sale on me. These assholes have multiple class action lawsuits they have lost for similar behaviour.

They will ship it anyway... Ebay for instance, gives you an hour to cancel an order, after that it is up to the seller as to whether an order is shipped or not. The seller also has to pay a cancellation fee on ebay (not much but it exists) and they have to relist the item again (often another fee) to put it up for sale again. Relisting the item loses all the item watchers it originally had and everything starts over again so a relist starts it over in the search results algorithm and greatly reduces the chance of the item selling in a timely fashion to someone else. I personally sell on Ebay and I try my best to get my items out to customers as fast as possible to account for the slower shipping times many carriers are having right now, so the customer is still able to get their item by the expected delivery date. Even if an item hasn't been officially picked up by the Post Office yet the shipping label has already been paid for by the seller and the package has likely already been packed up and readied for shipping. It then takes an online cancellation and a couple week wait to get that shipping label voided and the money returned (sometimes they also decide not to return the money and the seller has to eat the shipping cost). It sounds to me like the OP is the last person I would ever want to sell something to. If he can't decide what he wants before buying it, maybe he should stop drunk buying things in the middle of the night. His obvious issues and poor judgment aren't everyone else's problem to deal with. Sellers have more important things to worry about. Next day I already got the item in my front door already. The prediction date to get the item can be inaccurate esp the seller is actually close by not far away as you expect. The more efficient vendors now have your order packed and out the door in an hour. I order my laser printer cartridges for the office from an online vendor and sometimes they are being delivered 4 hours later, and the vendor is shipping them from a different city (yes it is next city over, about a 75 minute drive away, but it is NOT them providing the shipping, the USPS or UPS is).
