I CANNOT believe I turn 55 today. 55 was my magical number to……

I remember when growing up, to me 55 was the magic number for old age, retirement, etc. they even taught us that way in school.

So, today I sit and turn 55, my magical number to stop the rat race and just watch other rats race now but, life doesn’t always work out like ya expect (duh).

I’m still raising my grandson (13) and literally taking care of my 75 year old dad like he’s a kid. I’m working harder now then ever.

One positive is that I look younger than I really am. I get that alot and I’m staying physically fit and agile with the work I do.

I live in the middle of a 10 acre, dense woods. So, I have brush and trees and log splitting etc.


Are there any perks, discounts, benefit out in the world that you are able to tap into when you turn 55?
