Central coast/Eco coast FL here, panicking does no one any good, however, if you haven't done it yet, (and you should have!!), consider getting prepared and double checking the preps you have done. Make sure to get a good supply of your meds, water, non perishable food stuffs, first aid kits, cash, and important papers in a safe and secure place. Also make sure to get gas, propane, batteries and back up power supplies. Don't wait to the last minute and end up fighting the masses to get what you could have gotten earlier without the crowds and hassle. If you've pets, of course, don't forget to prepare for them as well! Also, don't forget your more vulnerable family members and even your neighbors.

You should know your evac routes and your shelter in place locations. If you took care of all that and nothing happens, fantastic! You're prepared for next time. If you haven't, well, good luck to you.

It'll be coming to FL. If it doesn't, it will be steered that way. DeSantis has made a lot of people mad.

I am following it. If I have a warning post about this its going to be odds of 50% or greater right now we're at 10-15% odds it will hit South Florida.

I live in the Cape. We booked a hotel in Ft. Myers just in case we need to evacuate.

We get flooding here just from stormy rains and we're are not in the evacuation zone but I'm sure flooding would be massive here from a Cat 1/2/3.

There are 96,000 EMV's in Florida. This will be a huge test because if the gov't calls for evacuation for an intense storm, how many will run out of charge while stuck in traffic?
