I don't care what color you are, no person should have to live like that. Imagine trying to be a parent and you can't even take your kids to a McDonald's or the park. You have to live in fear of being killed, raped, or shot. And the DA's just let these guys off with weeks, maybe months served. WTF is wrong with our Justice System? |

The man "Shot through the glass" employees said and stormed in, pulling out a large machete. He struck one person, but it didn't end in McDonald's. As Police surrounded him, he ran next door to the Zaxby's and was being held at gunpoint by the manager. The action continued outside. The man has a long history and as you would expect, didn't serve much jail time. Including a history of violence in restaurants, he's burned peoples homes down as well. The mass insanity of violence continues as across the city at the same time, another man shot and killed someone in the drive thru at another McDonald's. Welcome to Memphis. I demanded to leave by the end of the second year. I lived in a nice suburb called Collierville. The people were very nice, but it was way too close for comfort. I had to travel into Memphis everyday. I once had my car surrounded when I came to a stop at the light of an interstate off ramp. They started cleaning my windshield while another was pounding on my window, saying give me money now with all kinds of words I can't say. Thankfully the light wasn't red for long and I got out of there. |
