Contrary to my forum name I do not favor marijuana as something I personally like to take and dislike its effects to the point I completely abstain. But if a bit of ferrous sulfide cannabis extract stood between me and 125mg of morphine I think I'd have to tough it out.

Oh! Just saw at the very bottom a 'dose' was one half teaspoon. 125 mg morphine in an ounce of syrup, 6 teaspoons syrup in an ounce, 2 doses per teaspoon = ~10.5mg morphine per dose.
That sounds more reasonable. 125mg would knock most people on their ass and you'd be risking grandma not waking up if you gave the old gal that much.

Even at the much reduced recommended dosage, I wish I lived in the time period where people were free and could buy such tinctures and syrups over the counter. Must have been nice.

Oh and PS...don't cook food in NyQuil. Acetaminophen (Tylenol/Paracetamol in some countries) is one of the most fatality-causing OTC drugs ever to exist and one bottle contains about one acute liver failure (7.7 grams in std NyQuil bottle where around 8+ grams is where severe hepatoxicity (i.e. need to shop for a used liver) starts to be commonly observed in humans. Dosage to do irreversible and potentially acute liver damage is much reduced if you take alcohol with it, too, to the point that people have popped a few extra strength Tylenol for a hangover and ended up dying of liver failure down the line or at least needing a transplant to live. Bad stuff.

All I'm saying is, mess around with the pharmaceutical's magics enough, and you may find more than having originally bargained for. For example, the chicken slabs start shaking with a mind of their own after being resurrected through medicine having been refined to work too good in the sense the dead meat is summoned back into a reanimated state that is neither alive, nor deceased. Then it would simply be a matter of time before an amalgamated horror is created in some backwoods trailer park - a flesh abomination that is fueled by super-meth, and roadkill. 10.5 mg of morphine is a strong dose for someone with zero tolerance. Its similar to taking 10mg of Hydrocodone which would knock me right out
