Not true - Putin wants to restore the Soviet empire. This is a well known ambition of his. I've thought about this a lot. The west is not without fault, and problems, but fact is that most of the terrorism throughout the world has Russia at it's roots. Just take a look at the countries they partner with. North Korea, Iran, Cuba...... I could go on and on...
