Been using that homemade regimen boiled rinds of 6 grapefruit, 6 lemons, then put in mason jar. Ur supposed to take 2 tbsp in a shotguns, then fill the rest up with quinine water. N take zinc too....don't have Zack bc I'm takn Bactrim I cant taste anything. Cant smell anything. Food tastes nasty. Cant even drink broth. People don't want to admit it but it does change the body. Two years later I'm still not the same. But life goes on. Try eating things with texture. Believe It or Not oatmeal cookies. They have good texture especially if you burn them a little. Stay far away from anything like a pudding or mashed potatoes. Eating that kind of texture without any taste or smell is disgusting!! I was lucky come up at the end I could still taste salt and the slightest sour. So good old fashioned sourdough bread had no flavor but a slight aftertaste of sour. My doc says NAC helps to get the crap outta your lungs. I had my doc prescribe a nebulizer with saline caps and albuterol. I used saline only to loosen up the crap, and albuterol when my lungs got tight. Not medical advice. Here's some girlfriend advice though. You will get over it (please do, you're an asset to humanity with your great advice), and then a couple months later you'll notice that your hair is falling out in handfuls. Take hair vitamins. It might help. My hair is just now growing back and I got COVID last October. The new growth is only two inches long. Wild stuff. May you heal soon. |
