Strange that you mentioned "single." Has it ever been common protocol to take the bachelors first in our history?

No doubt with todays dating climate more men are opting for bachelorhood over tieing the noose/knot with a modern day fem-beast. But I don't see these bachelors being easy to roundup, train and sent to fight for a society that hates them.
