I haven't had the flu since 1991.

I've gotten influenza symptoms a few days after visiting my grandkids during winter months when one or more had the flu, but the symptoms were always light and passed within 4-6 hours. It wasn't even strong enough to slow me down. Sometimes my sinuses would drain for a day, but that was all.

I think the trick is to not get flu shots. Allow your immune system deal with protecting you. And ALWAYS keep your hands away from your face.
