The general cowardice in this thread is laughable.

If I were king, every citizen of this country would give
two years of service. Clean cities, repair homes, work in
the field pickin whatever, or in one of the armed services.

Step the fuck up.

I agree

Had a friend that was a Turksman a few years back.
He said that once they get out of high school they have to serve a mandatory 4 years in the military in service to their country, then they can go and do whatever they want or remain a soldier.

Kids here have always been babied to the point of being dumbed down and soft.

Actually the dumb are usually the military grunts.

Peace time allows room for societal intellectual growth.

That has happened, whether you realize it or not.

I took the asvab in Charlotte back in the late 80s. They interrogated me for 3 hours accusing me of cheating. No one had ever scored that high before.

20 years later my nephew joined up. Took the asvab himself. He was told no one else had ever scored higher than a guy in 1989. That he was a close second place. It blew their minds when he told them I was his uncle.

That test is extremely simple. A retard could pass it.

When I had to take it, I only missed one question.

You must have had a perfect score.
