Can people be forced to join the army?

If I were king, every citizen of this country would give

The reason they went to an all volunteer army is because 50 years ago people who were drafted were killing their officers. If one is coerced, bad things happen. It takes a real dumbass to kill for polticians, bankers, corporations, and murican hegemonic bullshit

In Vietnam some fragging occurred. It was rare as most LTs were smart enough to listen to their sargents. One's that were out of line, often got warnings which they mostly would take to heart. Most of the time if it did happen, it was because that officer got some guys f*cked up or killed needlessly.
