Can’t decide whether to swing west and hit the “S-Tripple F” (SanFrancisco Feces Festival) or stop for some Anderson’s split pea soup. I mean on the one hand I guess the S-Tripple F has the Monkey Pox Parade, ( I hear it’s to die for) and on the other hand i’ve Never had that pea soup.

Need to decide soon, any help deciding would be much appreciated!

Your directions don’t make any sense. Anderson is just outside Solvang which is north of Ventura by an hour or so. San Francisco is North of that not west and about 4 and half to 5 hours away from there.

Have to admit I did not know where Andersons was. I saw a sign headed north on I5 advertising it. I just looked it up on line and they are saying "Santa Nella" which is near Los Banos. Also you are correct, there is one in Buellton near Solvang.

Incidentally I was looking at Los Banos on the map thinking
I think that means "the bathrooms" in Spanish. I couldn't quite belive it so I looked it up and sure enough it does.
Who the hell names a town "The Bathrooms"?

Hit AJ Spurs in Buellton instead. Awesome food. One of those deer heads on the walls is one I donated to them.

True, it's sad/eye sore when one sees the humans being but I looked beyond that to the landscape. Just a blink of an eye ago those very towns were hard scrabble blue collar communities that still had common thread of working together just to survive, much less thrive.
