The honest answer is that if they attract even more black customers they'll drive away the remaining white ones, and if it becomes a "black" place, its desirability and safety will plummet. If this is true, it should be a legal defense.

But do they dare say that in court? They'll just settle because they lack the ballz to say that. And if so, they'll decline a notch in my estimation. On the other hand if they pushed back with this fact that everyone quietly knows, I would try to patronize McD more often.
