ALL MEN in Russia must serve in the Russian army, per their constitution. Mandatory conscription. When they leave the Army, they are permanently in the reserve force and can be called back into active service if they are needed. They know this. Its not much different with the US military.

All men in the US must register with selective service, by law. The difference is military service in the US is voluntary, until it is mandatory.

The people protesting in the streets are Russian liberals lol. What's funny is those that are arrested are being prioritized to be sent to the front lines.
