Not sure, maybe they break the woods down with lye to make it and are in a rush to neutralize the lye before market.

I personally was heavily bleeding for over 8 weeks. Thought I was going to die, everything was raw.
Switched over to sensitive skin type baby wipes and recovered fully within 3 days.
Even had a nasty weepy red rash on my nose and face from using the same paper to wipe skin cream off before bed.
