Don’t buy one that takes batteries then. Tritium and or fiber optic light source only.
Quoting: IFartInYourDirection I had an acog and after 15 years the tritium went dead. The battery in my Aimpoint last 2 years. Much better to change batteries every two years than to be stuck with a sight and no illumination. My Aimpoint is beat to shit and still holds its zero.
