Don’t buy one that takes batteries then. Tritium and or fiber optic light source only.
Quoting: IFartInYourDirection I had an acog and after 15 years the tritium went dead. The batteries in my Aimpoint last 2 years. Much better. And it’s beat to shit and still holds its zero. That's a pretty good run, depending on the color. The green tops out between 12-15 years.
