Taking enough cash out of the bank for two months of living expenses is smart. I've been in a situation where ATMs were down for a month. At every retail establishment, there were signs up Cash Only. Normalcy bias runs deep on this website. Ignore the pundits. They're just mad they haven't any cash to take out of the bank.
