No one knows. There's a reason it's still a question mark and people keep concocting endless varying religions and belief systems about it.

Humanity has not advanced enough to find the answer. We just don't know, everyone is taking shots in the dark. The dead can't tell us so we're left wondering.

Even the atheist view of "ends in nothingness" is based on no evidence whatsoever. They're also blindly guessing, they have no clue, neither does anyone else.

But it's always better to admit you simply don't know something than to latch on to a false belief. That's how progress begins!

Maybe somewhere in the distant future we'll figure out the truth, but right now we just have to accept the unknown.

I had 5-6 conscious out of body experiences back in the early 90`s.

One in particular, I floated trough the ceiling, funny thing is that it was like I was going trough a wall ( Gravity did not exist ? ), then I went trough the ventilation dock, wooden floor and I was in my parents living room.

There was this girl I wanted to visit so I tough about her and I was directly in her living room. I recall seeing an old TV set with antennas...

I kinda got scared a floated back...

I was an avid Robert Monroe book reader, also Daniel Meurois Givaudan...

To my point of view, when you die, your consciousness continues in the afterlife 100% guaranteed.

There is re-incarnation of the souls, it`s like recycling the spirit, that never dies.

Like Robert Monroe one said : Earth is a great learning school for souls.

That is why it is important to have a good Karma because your sins will follow you in the afterlife.

means what it says, I DIED!

I've been a Christian all my life but I'm more

dedicated these last 10 years than ever.

The Bible says "we sleep, till the judgement" and

that we experience nothing and that's what I believe

happened. I did not go to heaven. No one does.

The Bible indicates only Enoch and Elijah we're

taken and did not experience death.

I cannot answer for the people that have NDE.
