The Queen was the head of the Knights of Malta her husband controlled this, now it changed, the Pope changed the Order charter or whatever, or however, the Royals were allowed to control the top. Also, the weakened currency of Great Britain most likely was because the Vatican recalled all their gold and silver plus, I think getting rid of their holdings and maybe selling them, I don't know. It was a very strange move on their part. Calling everything back to the Vatican is something I don't ever remember happening before.
