There are fears that the Nord Stream pipeline strikes were just the beginning. Days before the Nord Stream pipeline strikes, Norwegian authorities warned of mysterious activities on their oil and gas platform The Norwegian press had reported last week that unidentified drones had been spotted at at least six Equinor facilities, including the giant Johan Sverdrup oil field. Last Tuesday, a drone was found 50m away from Equinor's Heidrun platform in the North Sea, breaching the 500m security perimeter. "Drones have been observed at some of our facilities on the Norwegian continental shelf," said a spokesperson for the company, which has reported the incident to Norwegian authorities, including PSA and the police. Drones have also been observed near other facilities. you have to translate it from greek: [link to warnews247-gr.translate.goog (secure)] |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 81508160 United States 09/27/2022 10:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Iflation rate in Germany Annual inflation rate in Germany was confirmed at 7.9 in August of 2022, and again reaching the highest level since the 1990's reunification highlighting the impact of the ongoing energy crisis and covid-19 supply chain constraints on households' finances. Prices rose faster for food (16.6% vs 14.8%) and services (2.2% vs 2%) and energy cost remained elevated (35.6% vs 35.7%). The prices of energy products rose sharply, especially for heating oil (111.5%), natural gas (83.3%), electricity (16.6%), motor fuels (16.5%). The price rise recorded for energy products was thus higher than the overall inflation rate despite the relief measures. This is due to several factors, especially the large increases of international purchase prices. On a monthly basis, consumer prices went up 0.3%, easing from a 0.9% growth in July. The CPI, harmonized to compared with other European countries, was up 8.8% on the year, the highest level at least since 1996, and rose 0.4% month-on-month. source: Federal Statistical Office [link to tradingeconomics.com (secure)] Anything that comes from the EU will become unaffordable.
