The Nordstream Gambit
Don't expect Putin to take this without fighting. Rest assured he is insanely furious right now.

Putin was planning on using LNG this year to cause a break in NATO. By offering energy, food, and a way to calm the citizens of various countries, he was going to blackmail them into abandoning the U.S. dollar and sitting quietly while Russia did whatever it wanted to do with this leverage.

The U.S. saw this coming and the isolation this would cause for the U.S. What other choice did it have? Sit idly by and watch the cold weather move in with the only savior for Europe being Mother Russia? At the whim of a dictator who has proven his insanity and willingness to use any weapon including starvation?

Yes Putin is angry and ready to lash out. His leverage is gone. His mobilization of troops is failing. The Ukrainians are beating him back. His economy is in shambles.

I fully expect to see in short order a retaliation by Putin, not necessarily nuclear, but possibly. I believe he will go after power grids using cyber warfare and plants on the inside. It has gone up to a whole new level.

Nah. Both sides are just playing their part. Most wars from the past few centuries were purposely started by the people in power working together. The only thing they care about is wiping out most of the population. Taking out the pipeline is one step closer to that goal.

I disagree but noted. I can't imagine major wars being started with cooperation on both sides with the goal of wiping out humans. Wars are for power, wealth, territory.

All the US will succeed in doing is transferring the wealth of Europeans and Americans to western gas companies and ensuring a lower standard of living for all. It doesn’t hurt Russia in the slightest.

This actually makes sense. How deep is that water? Could be Ukrainians planting explosives.

It even could be one of Russia's beluga whales gone rogue, or protesting at the mobilisation of normal Russian citizens like farmers and dolphin trainers.

Re: The Nordstream Gambit
The truth is sobering and a bit scary…

Having invaded Ukraine…Putin already knew the pipeline was defunct…if he shut it off, it was ultimately destined for demolition.

So why not destroy it? He gets political intrigue and the ability to blame.

Biden and company weren’t threatening…just explaining the truth, that Germany and Poland have backed up as well…

If the pipeline isn’t used to provide Gas for Europe, it would be destroyed regardless. Ultimately it doesn’t even matter who destroys it.

Btw it wasn’t by coincidence that Poland opened up a pipeline today.

This is all BS anyways… Globalists want ALL major players to fall…Russia, China, Europe, US, and yes even Israel…

There will be a great equalization of wealth and power to bring about their vision.

And most likely a theatrical limited nuke exchange…

World powers crumble, currencies fail, food and water becomes scarce, and a world unification power swoops in to take advantage…

All of you picking sides don’t get the big picture. We are headed towards unified world zones, with unified religious and political ideologies.

Only thing worth stockpiling is food production, and water reclamation techniques…
Always remember these words: Work hard, study well, and eat and sleep plenty! That is the Turtle Hermit way! We must master the art of peace in addition to the art of war!

This may force Russia to stop production, which if they do will cause all infrastructure to deteriorate beyond use, the pipelines are not designed to not be used. A massive many year effort to get gas production up again.

Agree! - We're simply watch a play unfold before our eyes. Non of this is real in the sense of doom. It has to play out this way.

And no, it's not just two more weeks.
There is no such thing as a coincidence. The smallest coincidence can be the hinge on which future events turn.

I recon Putin expected it. Do you think these generals/war cabinets sit on their hands for years? Or do you think they run war simulations daily as part of their job? Anger wouldn't play a role. It would simply be action/reaction. Russia would have played out this scenario many times and have plans in place. The Deep state (cant call them Americans anymore) would have played out the same scenarios also. Like a game of chess, they are looking many moves ahead. Wonder if Russia knows how to play chess?

So much speculation by armchair analysts.

You might be convinced you’ve sleuthed it out but really, you don’t know.

Therefore, you have zero right to conclude, much less have the right to try to sway others with your presumptions.

Both sides.
