Now in NZ! Are Costco any good?

No no no, Costco has the good stuff. The are the cheapest price of any where to get it. They buy in bulk and force companies to guarantee they can have the lowest price by buying so much of it.

Costco at least in Oregon now has a lot of organic produce and foods.

You can find enhanced deals on many household items.

I love to shop at Costco. But it is geared for large families, not single portions.

We love Costco and have been members for many years.

It is how we buy our bulk coffee, flour, rice, household products, some snacks.

Love their bath towels and I only buy theirs.

Vitamins and over the counter meds are very good too. They have their Kirkland brand which is often better than the national brand. Read your labels and you will see.

I have 4 grandchildren and often find good quality clothing for them including pj's.

Sometimes you will find a big pile of Levi's or down vests. Grab them when you see them. They might not be there next time.

If you need eye glasses or tires this is a great place for the best prices.

They send you a flyer monthly so you can plan your trip around their deals that month.

Not all Costcos have a liquor permit here. But one within driving distance has their own separate liquor store.

They have all ranges of whiskey and scotch, high end wines and the regular under 10 dollar bottles.

Bacardi rum is usually under 20 for a handle. Jim Beam is under 25 for a handle. They usually have Bulleit bourbon at a better price than any other stores around. Some good Scotches. And often they will have their blended Canadian whiskey that is comparable to Crown.

They offer Kirkland Brand vodka, 6 times distilled and very much like Titos for 15. If you want the French vodka it's 16.

A membership pays for itself usually in the first trip. Just be careful of those giant boxes of fruit and veggies unless you are making pies or have big plans for a weekend party. They are tempting.
