they recommend the flu shot every year... this is nothing new. About 50% of people get vaccinated every year for the flu because they choose to. they aren't being forced. You don't have to listen to recommendations if you don't want to.

I get the flu shot every year for the past 5 years and I haven't gotten the flu since then. Some people skip the shot and they still don't get the flu - they are just dodging a bullet. Some people get the flu shot, and then they still get the flu... probably because A) it takes 2 weeks to fully build the antibodies and B) the shot only contains the 4 main strains (2 form Influenza A and 2 from Influenzas B viruses). that are predicted to be circulating... so it is possible to catch a strain that isn't in the shot.

I know. There is a white patch between her brows that really stands out. lol
