It's how I feel, I can't see anyone reprising the role of Wolverine after Hugh or Ryan as Deadpool or Patrick Stewart as Professor X. Micheal Fassbender did a great job as Magneto after following in the footsteps of Ian McKellen so it can be done.

Can't say the same about the Hulk though, I don't think we've really had a good actor nail that character yet. I mean, Lou did a great job for a campy TV series version, will always love his version. But Mark Ruffalo, Eric Bannon, Edward Norton really don't hit the mark for me at least. Mark Ruffalo being my least favourite adaptation.

Some actors just define the character so well making it so iconic to that persona they are hard to replace.

Casting makes or breaks a movie.
