The Aspen Institute is innocuous charity work. Just because Gates contracted them for something doesn't mean anything.
Take a look at their projects. Link 1 scroll down. It's all regular main street youth stuff like YMCA and helping young people.
The founder what not a globalist, and yes there is an Italian branch which apparently Meloni joined in 2021. I don't think it's important.
Why? Just remember the Rockefeller Institute and Ford Foundation basically give to almost every major charity on the planet.
That doesn't mean they control everyone they give to. She must have joined (consider how late, 2021) the Italian branch for networking,
as there are people she wanted to meet and talk to privately in the group. Perhaps to gain their political support and help her win.

In decades of conspiracy research I have never heard of the Aspen Institute as a nefarious actor or secret society, but I have heard of it.
I think it's important to understand that not every group Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation taps for staffing purposes (see link below) necessarily means the group adheres to what that FOundation does. It's up to the individuals to decide if they want to work on that project, and certainly not every project Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has done over the many years is controversial, otherwise they would have gathered no support.

Meloni is anti-Covid vax. The so-called "vaccine mandate" question when she said to trust doctors was NOT about Covid vaccinations at all.
