Yes and the Salvation Army saved my brother's life. He was found by a cop wandering in the desert, completely crazy. The Salvation Army gave him a hotel room, and food for a few days. They also contacted his next of kin (me and my parents) so we knew where he was. He was totally out of his mind.

I had always donated to the Salvation Army in their Christmas pots before that , and I always will donate to them til the day I die, even though I have little money. Because they help crazy people, and not many people do.

After the earthquake in Haiti in 2010, it became clear that the Red Cross was just posing and driving around. The salvation army got in there and took care of the people much more effectively. Donate to Salvation Army or Samaritan's purse.
