Florida peeps CHECK IN HERE

Leesburg. Light rain. Blustery. We regularly get heavy rain & lightning storms a lot worse than this. So OK, at least so far. Center of storm comes over in another 2-3 hours. It’s wait and see. I’m expecting a lot of limbs & Spanish moss from our oaks. Maybe a power outage, which is fairly common around here, but might last longer than what’s usual for us.

I cursed dear ol twin on here long since as I said I would invade his prep. Not meant in a mean way there now twin, peep in Florida as common folk in our world pray for passage.

Blessings of course be upon Floridians of all of our world as some old god of our world try to make us notice.

Space Coast, Titusville here. I am in a parking lot. Lots of sirens. Flooding on streets and overflow ponds. Wind coming in bands with gusts which rock a 4000 lb van. I have a video channel which I will update and bring if possible.

Pinellas here, steady wind and lots of gusts all day, took a small drive, but nothing open, barely anyone on the road, branches blowing around, really just tropical storm weather, but they have us under hurricane watch though still.

Oh, power update, over 85,000 without power here in Pinellas County alone. We did hear transformer blow earlier today, but luckily we're still with power at this point, hope it stays that way.

They say we're supposed to have this same wind all day tomorrow too, ugh.

I'm outside of Ft Myers. It is already over. Power is still out but cell phones still work. No damage. The beach looks like it always does after a heavy storm.

I'm so far north on the Florida coast that I'm in Georgia.
It is very cool here. Earliest cold snap I can recall having.
It is certainly the coldest it's ever been for a hurricane/tropical storm situation.

It was never a near CAT 5 that I've seen. I am sure if you are in it it sounds bad and pushes water inland but it will do that for a CAT 1 or 2.
I almost think this was overblown to take attention away from other news. It certainly is a timely distraction.

Tampa here. Tropical storm stuff. Some debris from tree in the yard. A couple of strong gusts. Otherwise, it's just been a windy, rainy day.

Dunedin here. Just north of Clearwater. We left on tuesday and made our way to my sisters in Polk City. Windy and rainy. We'll see what damage happens by Friday when we go back to check. Our elevation is about 9 feet
