Melbourne here winds have picked up.

Between Orlando and Daytona..

Bands of wind and heavy rain with long pauses in between.
Sitting in the sunroom. Hear a thud of a palm leaf or small branch land once and awhile.

That said I live in a house built in 1890. Historical home. Figure it's been here this long, I'm good unless a tree falls on it.

Southeast Hillsborough County, Tampa ‘burbs. It’s been gnarly but things appear okay overall. Lots of trees down, screens ripped out etc; that I can see. Anxious for him to move on. Our power is still on though it threatened going out many times earlier. Lots of our area is without.

Ponte Vedra Beach here. 30 mph wind and some rain. I 'm worried about our pond gator. He's just a baby and he might be skeered.

Right, that's what I see, is it is gnarly but no way was this a CAT 4 might as well say 5 because it was only 2mph off. That just seems hypy for ratings. This is no Andrew that the good Lord. The news media is useless to honestly report anything and the interneters likewise. They have no compunction or integrity not to embellish their videos or use old footage from other storms for likes or subscribers.

Upper Treasure Coast is dry and windy. Getting 40-50 mph gusts pretty regularly now. Nice to see a little weather action for a change.

Clearwater here, all is well. Some rain and wind but power never went out.

Some TS force winds and steady rain RN. Expected to ramp up tonight from midnight thru 2 pm tomorrow as the low passes over. By then forecast to be TS force, 65 mph max.

She's a single mom and scared. Some preps, but not what I would call stellar. I look at our capabilities compared to her and most people and shake my head...

Saved Florida with the orgone cloudbuster I put in my garden in Brevard County last week.

Just heard it's a cat 2 now.

In Zephryhills, blanket clouds all day, rain fairly steady since 11am, but increasing. Rapid bursts of showers off and on. Wind and gusts average speed increasing all day, but there are major lulls here and there

The rain meter estimates there have been four to six inches since last night.

Power flickered twice, but has been steady all day til i write this at 10:06pm ET.

Cell signal has weakened considerably since mid afternoon. No downed trees in the neighborhood but a tall flag pole bent about a foot from the ground of a neighbors house and it is currently leaning against the roof

Brevard County....Palm Bay area.

Was pretty mild most of the day but it's picking up a lot now. We are already pretty waterlogged so hoping it passes through without dumping a bunch more on us. Otherwise everything is fine. No generator running yet...still have power...which is kind of unusual for me during a hurricane of any kind...but they did improve infrastructure a lot in this area over the past few years.

All good.
