Why is the soul so often associated with death?

The soul is associated with the perception of existence in both life and death. Your interpretation is that everyone else's perception of it is in death when really your just reflecting your own perception.
Glad your slowly opening your own eyes. Just open them a little wider.

Because it's what doesn't die.

I know. That’s why I said “so often” instead of all the time. I can’t see into 8 billion minds and souls. I can only call it like I’ve heard it in my life. But I think more minds are opening to the greater potential of the soul. The idea of the anomaly is one example of that.

My experiment is….the living potential of the soul. A rise through the flesh for the flesh and beyond.

If you mean….it’s really the source of what keeps us going then yes I agree.

I believe if you give the brain the task of contemplating the soul there is no limit (except the ones we give ourselves for wise reasons) to how much you can grow.

The soul is YOU.

YOU are currently residing in a flesh Meat Sack while visiting earth. If for some reason your temporary meat sack should become severely injured, or diseased, or simply gets worn out with years of dedicated use, like a Late Model Chevrolet Truck, it becomes useless, and you must exit the truck and get back home any way you can.

The soul is the tale of the tape. That's your identity. Your spirit is what animates you. When you die one can die, the other can't. Both can live. That's upto you.
