I have no idea how you guys or your parents survived the 70's, 80's, and 90's. Interest rates were higher and the stock market was quite a bit lower.

You need to be bitching about the corporations who continue to make record profits at the consumers expense. Let the corporate leaders tighten their belts a little. They can surely afford it.

You're assuming the 10 year lows wont break further.

Another 40% - 60% drop is a substantial difference, even if something is already at a 10 year low.

And thats also with the assumption that if it does drop lower that it will rise back to hit that 10 year low level quickly .... but what if it doesnt? What if it takes 20 - 30 years to go back up to touch that 10 year low level. Then you'll be at a major loss.

Its better to wait it out, especially when the world is teetering on collapse, war, instability. Just one push over the edge will send everything crashing down fast.

The Dow dropped to 30 year lows in 1932. We're going below the 2009 low.
