my bet is, that if Ukraine will keep on attacking, Putin may, but i hardly believe, send/attack with a tactical nuke some unimportant city as a message, and demand complete surrender of Ukraine's army

That's why he'll use a smaller tactical nuke to send a message that won't trigger MAD. I think the U.S., Russia and China also all have 2nd, 3rd, 4th and more chances to retaliate because all of their nukes are not in their countries, but in dozens of subs, deep beneath the Earth, and oftentimes on already airborne planes and possibly even in space.
