After we split up he threw a party. He told people at the party that I didn't always look like that. He pulled out photos of me when I was skinny with him. I didn't reflect well on him 'cause I'd gained weight and he didn't want people to think I'd always been that fat.

If you get sick it becomes about them. If you get a promotion it becomes about them. If you ever split up with a narcissist they'll bad-mouth you to your family and friends. If you split up they'll take everything you bought together. They'll even take your stuff

He ended up getting 2 dogs and he went to a psychiatrist and was diagnosed Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Yes, he was diagnosed NPD by a psychiatrist after we split up. I KNOW he was a narcissist because they are abusive that way. They are assholes but even worse. At this point I feel sorry for him but I have no longer contact with him

Thing is that people who have shaped the 'science' of psychology were stuck with their 'findings', those 'findings' which became a dogma. This cannot be any other way, cause dogma is in their blood. This realization alone should have made any real scientist suspicious, but going there would have made tabula-rasa with their Weltenbild.
