Hurricane Ian: SC - NC Edition | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 82544032 United States 09/30/2022 01:36 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Be aware these weather people are liars. They try to overhype weak storms and underhype strong storms to get people killed, evac from safe places to more dangerous areas. This might be like Katrina and strengthen at the last second, it wasn’t even spose to be category 1 and it is already. No doubt it will land on a republican state like South Carolina or Georgia and avoid North Carolina so they will misforcast it on purpose to kill more and make the governors look bad. I would take extreme caution in coastal areas. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80824686 |

I have ridden out cat 2 hurricanes a few times and it wasn't to bad other then downtown flooding. Quoting: kdog82 I'm in mount pleasant and well prepared. The bridges will be shut down by daylight but if yours or anyone needs anything east of the cooper let me know and I can help. Hey neighbor, I'm in Mt Pleasant too. Carolina Park at the north side of Mt P. BTW, we're looking to move to Simpsonville and buy a farm. Too many libtard fuckheads around Mt Pleasant. Upstate way more conservative minded folks. She is in West Ashley, she is ok. Second phase in life begins |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75488052 [link to earth.nullschool.net (secure)] I find it interesting the increase in wind speed today!! I also find it interesting that forecasts in SC still don’t know exactly WTH is going on!!! They are steering Ian!!! And maximizing it!!!! It seems like something is going on for sure. I've told my daughter a few times I don't like this storm because it just isn't acting right. Couldn't really put my finger on it, |

No rain, and it's been an incredibly dry summer, scary dry in our area out by a national forest, I'm just hoping we get some rain from all this. Prepped for power outages, but will follow this thread as I can.
