UK No Recession Doom off. Or BuLL shit Hopium
UK economy grows leaving the Bank of England's recession prediction in tatters

The new statistics provide relief to the Government following the economic fallout of last week's mini-budget.

The UK economy grew slightly over the second quarter of this year, providing some relief to economists who feared the country had descended into recession. Despite an initially predicted decline by the Office for National Statistics (ONS), refreshed data from the research body revealed that gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 0.2 percent over the three months to June.

Did you notice they didn't mention the pound bounced back, it was 1.12 first thing this morning which was 4% higher than BEFORE the 1.08>1.03 drop earlier in the week that caused the stink.

Still trading at $1.10, 2% higher than when it dropped.

Still crap considering it was always about $1.60+ to the GBP before Brexit.

What has Brexit got to do with it? Euro dropped a chunk in last 3 years too - as did all currencies in the world. (We were never in the Euro currency for the un-educated amongst us)

People are fleeing to the dollar because the economic shit about to hit the fan and possible war.

Nothing to do with Brexit whatsoever.

I'm not blaming Brexit per se, I'm just stating a fact that immediately after the Brexit vote when it was wrongly believed that Remain had won, the rate jumped to $1.70 to the GBP, but then when it was revealed Leave had won, the GBP plummeted in value against the USD and has never recovered to previous levels, but in fact has fallen recently to record lows.

I suspect it is the cabal punishing us for voting to Leave.

yep

but look around

can't get a kitchen/ bathroom fitter for months
woodburners out of stock- and a lot overproduced seeing this coming
scaffolding everywhere

yes there is manipulated and controlled deprivation and inflation

but people are still spending

and the boe once again get it wrong ( asking with the fraud loving imf and the media

i wonder when they'll clock on to the fact that most people are no longer listening
but doing their own research and thinking/ living for themselves

how novel !
