Almost any idea could be prototyped for 500USD.

Including Uber, AirBnb, or any tech giant.

You could easily write a very simple open source taxi app for 500USD, prove the concept with one taxi, and get more money

If you proved yourself with 500USD, investors/donors would give you 1000, 20000, 5,000...50,000 whatever...

I can't believe the amount of people who turn their noses up at 500USD.

Taking into account all the failed startups and dishonest charities out there, what smart investor/donor would give them anything?

Very easy: get off the privatized central banking systems like the Federal Reserve and reappoint elected representatives to manage the banking operations in each country.

We're going to have a system implemented with quantum computing that after it's in place will look quite a bit like the Star Trek version of Earth's economic paradigm. The whole gaslight you're all getting from the billionaires and WEF is because they have a different scenario planned, and they are being given enough rope.

We really need to start thinking in terms of healthy food, water, home-produced energy. These are the true bedrocks of a physical world economy.

If every house/village was more or less a homestead, we could all collectively yank ourselves out of the rat race, and live like Hobbits... or like Star Trek.

I figure every city and town will look drastically different.

Forgetting about currency for now, if you provide people the equipment they need to live free, 80 to 90% of political and economic problems disappear very quickly.

What about off-grid, or low grid skyscrapers?

Nothing! Would actually let a free market system have a shot just once. End central banking, issue bi-metalic currency and get government regulations out of peoples lives. Let Mr. Market make the world better.

Bi-metallic currency seems like a good idea. I've seen people making cards with slivers of silver... seems like a decent enough currency.

We don't know if government figures for SIM participants are true.

Many people walking down the streets could be sprites.

I suspect 8 billion is vastly over-inflated.

There are actually foundations waiting for people to start more initiatives, so they can fund them.

I guess I should be pragmatic and learn how to start a charity.

1) How about the 95% of us who are not mentally disabled do the research, and help the 5% of people who are disabled? Then we could give them a meaningful, well paid job sweeping the streets, farming, building simple solar systems, or whatever they're capable of.

2) I get on just fine eating millet, cucumber, grapefruit and ginger. That is NOT expensive.

3) It's on the stronger ones to help the least advantaged. Again, most of us come from homes without horrific parents. So we can help those who are in that situation. If you really care, you could start a charity, or do volunteer work.
