People thought those two were kinda fishy.

They have every right to be pissed off! There are a lot of fisherman out there playing the game by the rule of the book, and these assholes have been cheating for years, apparently. They were sponsored, they were getting high dollar prizes and not to mention full-blown payouts for their dishonest wins. For all the other men who put their heart and soul into doing this the proper way, they were all just fucked by these two creeps and there’s no telling how long it’s been going on. Personally, I’m surprised these two motherfuckers made it out of there without broken legs.

Aparently they got arrested. Im surprised they dont automatically have something in place to prevent this. Apparently these guys make decent money off these tournaments.

Legal charges are the least of their worries.

Every single fisherman that ever competed against these dudes is likely filing civil charges against them right now.

Not to mention every sponsorship they got is now gone.

They're ruined.

yes you can make good money in fishing tournaments if you are good(or apparently a cheater). $50-$100 Thousand to the winning team is common(depending on the tournament).

Not exactly, What if you paid several hundred dollars for the entry fees, travel expenses, food etc(you can spend thousands easily to do a tournament weekend) and then find out the winners cheated and have been doing it regularly?
You would be pissed too!

He's in a lot of trouble. Don't know if animal rights would come into play with those weights forced down the throat of a living fish, while you're hunting them to kill, but that's just the sign of an excremental human being, there.

As a fisherman who has won tournaments honestly, this makes me mad as hell ! These 2 jerks need to be permanently banned from fishing tournaments for the rest of their lives. They are lucky they didn't get the crap beat out of them by the other fishermen.
Unless you are a fisherman, you can't understand the outrage by the honest ones. You prep for days before the tournament, replace equipment that needs to be replaced, check all your lures and bait. I only do local, but many drive far to get to some of the tournaments. You hope you have good luck, as skill isn't enough at times. You put everything you got in you, into fishing.

I got my first taste of WallEye fish two years ago....and loved it.

Too bad it is impossible to get down here in deep south Texas...unless a "winter Texan" brings it down with them.
