Quoting: Just Passing Through..... I was in Andrew in 92 and that was a 200mph Hurricane. I was 8 and I still remember our roof flying off and seeing my neighbors home collpase. Alot of people I remember had a sort of shell shocked look about them. I see it here as well. Lots of people walking around just in a trance. They have all the tell tale signs of being traumatized. I'm here on behalf of Florida Emergency management clearing trees and debris from high value/critical infrastructure. While I enjoy the insane amounts of money I'm making, I am not ok seeing my fellow Floridians devastated. There still is murmurs of over 1k dead. The storm surge that hit here did waaay more damage than wind ever could. I saw a 6 story condo with the water line up to the 3rd story!! Thats gotta be 20-25ft. I have smelled death already a couple times but luckily it isn't where I'm working. I'm based here close to the Ft Meyers Auto Auction. I have about a month of work here at least and I was able to hire about another 50 people temporarily while we do storm cleanup. I'm used to my little 13 or so employees so managing and planning for 65 employees is really fucking tough. Anyone here on GLP that is close by and can afford it, please be a good human and load your car or truck with diapers, water, baby formula, and trail mix or food like that, batteries, or blankets and bring them down. These are the things I'm seeing needed most right now. My wife is currently in route from N. Florida where she loaded my 20ft enclosed trailer with 6k worth of supplies for the people (especially the children) in the area I'm working right now. So, this is an update from a GLP'er actually on the ground working the cleanup. Seriously, any Glp'er wanting some green karma in real life please bring some supplies down and just pull into a neighborhood and unload. Its that easy. I will update as I can but its time to get cranked up and go dump the trailers so we can get started at sunrise. I HATE seeing my beloved state so devastated. Kamala Harris is not a Natural Born Citizen. She's illegally running. Used by the Founders... Book I of The Law of Nations, Chapter XIX, § 212 (Joseph Chitty numbering) – “Citizens and natives” reads: 'The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights.' 1758 Emerich de Vattel Oh' What the Hell, do I look like I want to die in some nursing home one day... America must have 4 new Constitutional Amendments... 1. Drug Tests and Mental Evaluations on all politicians and judges randomly five times per year. 2. Term Limits for Federal politicians and judges. 3. Mental and health standards for Supreme Court Justices and retirement age set. 4. A 'Star Chamber' of elected Natural Born Citizens (no attorney's) to ivestigate, try, and prosecute the politicians and government employee's as they see fit. Mandatory death penalty by public hanging is the merciful sentence for pedos and their associates. Democrats are a WMD, literally. Let Justice Be Done Though The Heavens Fall. |

I think I recall you saying your daughter (had?) lived around the Orlando area. Everything I see is flooded! We've all seen Ft Meyer's Beach which is heartbreaking. Is Ft Meyers proper also devastated? I can imagine that people are near psychological collapse and don't know how they can possibly deal with it. In his poem Human Pride, Marx admits that his aim is not to improve the world, reform or revolutionize it, but simply to ruin it and enjoy it being ruined: With disdain I will throw my gauntlet full in the face of the world, And see the collapse of this pygmy giant whose fall will not stifle my ardor. It's mentally exhausting to see so much devastation. 9 hours of pure hell. I couldn't take it anymore on the back half of the eye. It was so bad. I'm a mail carrier here and while I have my own disaster to deal with, it breaks my heart to see my customers going thru it too. I hate that all the focus is on Sanibel and FMB. It makes it look like everyone is rich and destroyed yachts etc. We aren't. Most of the people effected are blue color workers and just trying to get by. We are the ones who work and serve the rich. Charlotte county and Arcadia, north port ect is devastated. We have 2 locations for assistance in Charlotte county. For 200k people! All the other resources are headed south! I have friends who've waited 4+ hours in line for gas only to be turned away. Even I'm mentally exhausted at this point. It's just horrible |

Or if I should even go there or figure out another area with a decent high school -Riverview High in Sarasota county was where I had planned to put my child in. |

Unfortunately and to be expected because it was MSM, they were trying to imply that DeSantis was as fault for all of the water still be there. Idiots. It really looked dire with water still up to the roofs of the cars. I don't see how anyone recovers from that or that it's even wise to rebuild or for people to stay there. Terrible. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear." Marcus Tullius Cicero |
