The traders have decided the only way out of this is to print and bail the banks out. This means tons of liquidity will be created and it has to go somewhere so the buy equities trade is now being priced in.

Let’s see what happens at the emergency fed meeting today. Do they end QT and start buying bonds like the UK did last week or do they double down and raise rates again.

CS and DB banks will probably be taken over by the Fed thru satellite investment funds to buy related entities preferred stocks and thus become the primary stake holder,

but things would happen behind closed doors, maybe also by openly issuing more shares on the market, diluting the price per share of these lame duck banks, perhaps as a cover to mask the underlaying buyout operation.

You have not contractually agreed to control a property until you close which could be a good thing or a bad thing. Either way I would not lose sleep over it. No one really owns property if government takes it when you miss a payment to them.

I don’t think they are going to raise rates. If anything, look for them to reverse course from last week’s 75 basis point rise and drop the FFR down at least that much. The housing market is literally screaming with home loans projected to be going north of 8%, and of course higher interest rates make the national debt that much harder to service.

Banks are not in danger, if fact they did amazing during the last collapse because the Feds bailed them out by elusively printing money BS fiat money to loan to them.


Only the little people holding loans, Mortgages, and other secured debt get crushed. People need to wake up.

To add: this won’t be solved by changing rates either way, imo. This is a currency crisis, with every fiat currency being inflated to the moon and effectively destroying their purchasing power. That is why everyone’s fleeing from bonds into equities. The 10 year would have to be at 10% or greater to attract legitimate clients at this stage, as right now it’s probable that only the Fed is buying them.

Eventually even equities won’t provide a safe haven, and then we’ll see cash flooding into commodities.
