Still a high bar for a public figure to win a defamation case, but if anybody ever had a case it would be TRUMP. The man has been in the public eye since the 1980s. Almost always got positive coverage from the media, he was name dropped in about 100 rap songs in a positive manner (wealth, success). He was given cameo appearances in movies. He got his own reality show. They wouldn't do that if they thought TRUMP was a neo-Nazi White Supremacist. There is a provable change in coverage of TRUMP based on his running for office as a Republican. That is going to be a pretty strong case that their coverage was knowingly and intentionally false and intended to hurt TRUMP. |

CNN literally spent all 4 years of his presidency & even for the 1st year after that with 3/4 of the front page stories as anti-trump filler. They stopped posting real news years ago. It was a joke at times - if something genuinely newsworthy was happening CNN would be the last one to post it on the front page because it meant they'd have to push one of their anti-Trump op-eds off.... Was quite amusing for a while then just got tedious - which is why they're going to be bankrupt within a year. Coldkidc |
