When Romans 10:9-10 says you must confess Jesus is Lord, that is saying he is God. Verse 12 "the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him".

So when you confess Jesus is Lord denying his difinity, youre not calling on God, youre calling on an omnipresent eternal and allknowing regular human being.
