Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34577285 Ximena April 11, 2022 at 6:11 am Such a beautiful recipe! But as a bonus, you can (and should!) totally ferment Eikorn to make it more digestible and bioavailable. Simply soak the ground Einkorn in the milk + a few tablespoons of yogurt, kefir, buttermilk or natural liquid whey and leave overnight or (even better) 12h. Then cook it on the stove or (even better) in the slow cooker over a couple of hours in low setting (you could put it on as you wake up before you go out to tend to the animals). This is how it was done ancestrally! "heritage grains" can sprout it, soak it, that washes out a lot of bad stuff also. and yeah, other varieties of wheat could have more 'preferable' gluten profiles.. people seem to have a problem processing gluten when the soluble to insoluble gluten is not balanced.... but yea as for glyphosate I think then you'd need organic wheatberries... Exactly...COW doesn't sell an organic version, but you can make your own. Benefit of research not funded by gov or monsanto. There are workarounds if you know whats up. Americans can make good decisions if they are told the truth or some nonGMO project verified ones maybe.. if possible.. |

Enough to cause health problems. So are rolled oats. Welp, it's official. I'm gonna die....soon. My grandma ate Cream of Wheat every night until she was 87, then they moved her to a nursing home for other health reasons so I don't think she got her nightly Cream of Wheat and she lived until she was 98. But, that was awhile back. There is no telling what they do to food now as it's grown with the GMO seeds. |

Glyphosate dehydrates your intestines, where your immune system resides, along with your absorption of nutrients. |

Like everyday love it, with a spoonful of quik for the chocolate. This is devastating news if true. Quoting: 5lats It's true. Research scientist in the family received a private grant to study glyphosate in the food chain and it was shocking. Wheat is many times worse than other grains due to the cellular structure or something like that. He said he is never eating wheat again. He though the grain processors are adding to the problem how it is handled and how glyphosate accumulates in the system. Interesting aside...the study was funded by a private individual who was trying to cut through the BS and do a deep storage of food because of the coming solar flare/apocalypse. Hope he is wrong about that...but def right about the COW What about organic wheat flour? |

User ID: 83015319 United States 10/07/2022 07:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I like cream of wheat. I got off wheat for two years and it didn't fix anything. THANKS to all the people who posted recipes to make your own (from organic wheat berries?) I sure do hope that organic doesn't get the chemicals. Maybe we should all be learning how to grow a little wheat in our gardens.
