As for King James, people smear him with all sorts of things. But the fact is 50 of Britains best scholars had this bible translated, and its demonstratively inerrant (despite the obious jesuit gunpowder plot of Guy Fawkes and other attacks by the roman catholics against Britain at this time when the battle of giving Gods word to the people were taking place).

Britain was key in the protestant reformation, that was the battleground, and after the King James bible, thats when Britain became the world superpower spreading Gods word across deserts and jungles all over the planet and english becoming the world language.
