The other day at the register, I owed 16.73.
When I tried to give her 22.00, she tried to give me the two dollars back immediately.
I tried to tell her I want a fin as “change,” and she still refused to accept the two additional dollars on the spot.
Rather than fight with her, I just accepted the three crummy dollars and 27 cents and left the store.
People really are stupid, and I am seeing more of this kind of thing everywhere I go.
