In his wildest dreams he never thought the flight was in danger and that "they' would act that fast, his thought was get his wife and himself or himself to safety, then plan.since his mentor was flying and his sister in law wanted to go with, he didnt need a ifr plan since he wouldnt be in the plane.He drives his vehicle to a inocuous big town and country in a parking spot and sees a trusted employee. transfers all his stuff so employee can repark his empty car at airport and leaves.C.is or isnt with him.I think she was because he had to stop at their condo and ask the doorman to run up and get their pet cat. If she was coming back, he wouldnt have.They dissapear with IDs, passports, tons of cash and references. He is appalled at the planes fate and stays under cover.
Meanwhile clinton gets the whole navy out and takes personal charge of recovery. at the wharfs, medics are assembling for the Kennedys.
